HRMS Application Deployment

To deploy the HRMS application, complete the following steps:

  1. Install the HRMS application.
  2. (optional) Deploy the demo data.

To install the HRMS application for the first time, use the full version pack. To update the application from the previous versions, use the update packages.

Deploy full version

Before you deploy the HRMS version 1.2.0, ensure you have the 1.30.0 or later version of the platform installed.

Install on a new instance


  1. Create employee accounts and organization records on your instance (using the LDAP integration or manually).
  2. Install the [HRMS] 1.2.0 full.sop full application package.
  3. Perform a quick import of the hrms_master_data_1_2_0.json JSON master data file.
  4. Open the Scheduled Scripts list.
  5. Activate the Recalculate Available absence (daily at 02:00AM) scheduled script.
  6. Open the Recalculate Number of employees for Organizations scheduled script record and click Execute.
  7. (optional) Activate the Notify employees and managers about available vacations (at the beginning of each month) scheduled script.

Install on an existing instance


If the HRMS application is installed on an instance with existing active records in the Employees (employee) table, follow these steps:

  1. Install the [HRMS] 1.2.0 full.sop full application package.
  2. Import the hrms_master_data_1_2_0.json JSON master data file.
  3. Open the Scheduled Scripts list.
  4. Launch the Recalculate Number of employees for Organizations script.
  5. Wait until the system recalculates the number of employees in all units. To ensure this:
    1. Open the Organizations (org_organization) list located at \{your instance URL}/list/org_organization.
    2. Filter the list by the Number of employees is empty condition.
    3. If the list contains any records, check the validation logs and fill in the mandatory fields in the organization units.
    4. Repeat the steps i-iii.
  6. Open the Scheduled Scripts list.
  7. Open the Create available absences for employees retrospectively scheduled script record and click Execute.
  8. Activate the Recalculate Available absence (daily at 02:00AM) scheduled script.
  9. (optional) Activate the Notify employees and managers about available vacations (at the beginning of each month) scheduled script.

Install updates


To update the HRMS application from version 1.1.1 to 1.2.0, install the [HRMS] 1.2.0.sop package.
