Patch 1.8.1

This version makes the asset hierarchy view more interactive and convenient for viewing and navigation. We also improved validation in asset registration and inventory tasks.

Interactive asset hierarchy tree view​

We added the ability to move asset nodes without breaking their connections or hierarchy levels, zoom in and out, and move the hierarchy tree across the workspace. We also added buttons to restore the tree to its initial state and to fit the entire tree to the screen.

The updated asset hierarchy tree view now displays:

  • asset nodes with their subcategory and name,
  • consignment consumption nodes showing the reserved quantity for each consuming task,
  • tooltip information displayed when you hover over elements, including the consignment consumption state, the Not found marker, and hierarchy errors, if any.

Move around the tree by dragging it. To change the zoom level, use the mouse wheel or the and buttons. You can also fit the entire tree to the screen or reset the node positions to their default positions if you have moved them.

You can configure the hierarchy tree direction (horizontal or vertical) in the new itam.hierarchy_layout_pattern system property.

Data validation during asset registration and inventory​

We updated and expanded the list of error messages that can occur when uploading an XLSX file in asset registration and inventory tasks:

  • Invalid consignment quantity: The value must be a positive integer no greater than 2147483647.
  • Non-unique combination of part number and serial number.
  • Asset linked to an inactive nomenclature.

Fixes​

  • DEF0023412: The modal windows of the inventory widget used to scan barcodes with a mobile device camera or barcode scanner were displayed incorrectly. In this version, we fixed the layout of the widget's modal windows.

  • DEF0022565: In previous versions, errors occurred when processing asset registration and inventory XLSX files if the quantity of consignment assets was entered as a non-integer and/or negative number. In this version, we added file validation rules and updated the error messages.
