ITSM Demonstration Data

Demonstration data for the ITSM application is delivered upon request.

The ITSM demonstration data aims to help you understand the application logic and get familiar with the functionality faster.

The ITSM demo data is available in English and Russian.

Deploy demo data​

caution
  • Add demo data only to demo instances.
  • Import demo data in Russian and English to different instances. When importing to a single instance, some demo records may be overwritten.
  • If you imported the JSON file into the platform version 1.23.3 and higher, run the scheduled script To make groups active and of type assignment ({Instance URL}/record/sys_schedule_script/172234054712189981) to select the Active checkbox and the Assignment group type in the ITSM demo groups.

To deploy the demo data on your instance, complete the following steps:

  1. Import the SOP file with the demo data for the ITSM application:
    • [ITSM]_1_12_1_demo_en.sop for the demo data in English;
    • [ITSM]_1_12_1_demo_ru.sop for the demo data in Russian.
  2. Import the JSON file with the demo data for the ITSM application:
    • [ITSM]_1_12_1_demo_en.json for the demo data in English;
    • [ITSM]_1_12_1_demo_ru.json for the demo data in Russian.
  3. Navigate to System Settings → Server scripts.
  4. Open the Preparation for demo script record ({Instance URL}/record/sys_script/171222864510409628). This script is needed to display the Timeline widget correctly.
  5. Click Run.
