We are pleased to announce the release of SimpleOne ITAM, a new product for accounting and managing assets in organizations.

SimpleOne ITAM will allow you to carry out operational accounting of assets (including IMACD processes: Install, Move, Add, Change, and Dispose), perform various operations with assets at all stages of their life cycle, and create dictionaries that support the asset management process. The application has been developed with consideration of the GOST R ISO/IEC 19770-1-2021 standard.

The first release of ITAM offers users the following features:

• Maintain asset records in the Asset Management Database (AMDB).
• Create and structure a dictionary of items, determine the characteristics that will apply to the assets of a particular item.
• Register assets and maintain accounting of consignment consumption.
• Manage and account of assets including those stored in stocks as well as conduct inventories.
• Track changes in the state and attributes of assets.
• Initiate, coordinate, and execute asset change tasks. The following task types are available:
  • Registration
  • Allocation
  • Upgrading
  • Maintenance
  • Inventory
  • Change of the responsible person
  • Change of stock
  • Decommissioning
  • Disposal
  • Transfer
• Maintain records of supporting documents that confirm operations related to assets.
• Manage asset contracts, namely register contracts, coordinate related activity and monitor expiration dates.

The application enables several agents to simultaneously process multiple asset records in various tasks; complex cases are considered and protection against incorrect user actions is provided.

For additional convenience, the application offers various widgets, such as:

• Barcode widget with the print function
• Consignment consumption widget
• Inventory results widget
• Asset processing progress widget
• Widget for adding assets filtered by selected criteria and adding multiple assets at once
• Widget for displaying REM attributes of configuration items on the asset form

Integration with ITSM is also available, which provides additional capabilities for customers if they have both applications installed:

• Define relationships among ITAM assets and ITSM configuration items.
• Approve ITAM tasks as part of service requests and change requests.
