Partners

You can create partner companies to connect them to the leads, opportunities, and contacts of representatives from these companies. By default, only active partners are displayed in the list interface.

tip

Role required: crm_marketeer, crm_admin, crm_sales, crm_manager. Only crm_admin can edit existing records.

To create a partner company, complete the steps below:

  1. Navigate to CRM → Sales → Partners.
  2. Click New and fill in the fields.
  3. Click Save or Save and exit to apply the changes.

Partner form fields

Main contactNSpecify the main contact in this company.
DocumentsNSpecify a link to the document folder for the company.
Parent companyNSpecify a parent company of the current one.
DescriptionNAdd a description of the company.
Relationship typeNThe type of relationships with the company. The field is filled in with the Partner option.
Selling directionYSpecify the partner selling direction.
TINYSpecify the company's TIN. The value must contain 9, 10 or 12 digits.
Decision makerNSpecify the contact of the decision maker in the company.
Sales representativeNSpecify the contact of the sales representative.
Pre-saleNSpecify the contact of the pre-sale specialist.

The form contains the Activity Feed widget. Only users with the crm_marketeer, crm_admin, crm_sales, crm_manager roles can leave comments there.

The record contains the following related lists:

To see previously created partners, find CRM → Sales → Partners. Open the Partners form to manage your record. Click Deactivate / Activate to change the partner's Active parameter. Inactive partners are hidden from the default list view and cannot be added to a marketing list. The action is available for the crm_manager role.
