Fiscal Periods

The table contains fiscal periods that you can select when registering and managing purchases and related tasks. You can refer to these fiscal period records in the Purchase Request (purchase_request) and Demand (demand) records.

The out-of-the-box solution contains the periods of all levels from 2021 to 2024.

Roles required:

  • Create, editadmin, fiscal_period_manager
  • Readadmin, fiscal_period_manager, fiscal_period_agent

No one can delete fiscal period records. You can only deactivate irrelevant records by clearing the Active checkbox on the Fiscal Period form.

Create a fiscal reriod


To create a new fiscal period record, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Organization → Fiscal Periods.
  2. Click New and fill in the fields.
  3. Click Save or Save and exit to apply the changes.

NameYEnter the name of the fiscal period.
TypeYSelect the period type. Available options:
  • Month
  • Quarter
  • Year
Parent fiscal periodNSpecify the parent fiscal period, if any.
ActiveNSelect the checkbox to activate the record. The records with the checkbox cleared are not available for selection.
Start dateYSpecify the start date of the fiscal period.
End dateYSpecify the end date of the fiscal period.

Master data


The records required for the correct performance of the application are automatically added to the Fiscal Periods table when an instance is deployed. These are the active records of fiscal periods from 2021 to 2044 years inclusively. The records for 1991-2020 and 2045-2100 years inclusively are deactivated by default. Activate them if necessary.
