Git Integration

Use Git Integration to connect your SDLC instance to the Git version control system, by creating a connection with a Git provider – a service that provides storage and management of Git repositories.

info

The SDLC version 1.3.0 supports integration with GitLab.

To setup Git integration, complete the following steps:

  1. Create and configure a Git connection.

    note

Ensure that your instance has access to the server of your Git provider, for example gitlab.com.

After successful connection to the service, Git groups and Git repositories will be created in the SDLC application.

  2. Add fetched repositories to corresponding projects.

After a repository is added to a project the Developer Panel section on its task forms will display information on activity in the GitLab system related to the corresponding task: branches, commits, and merge requests.
