Demand tasks

In order to organize smooth and transparent workflow with demands, you can create related Demand tasks (demand_task) and assign them to a member of the assigned group.

tip

Roles required:

  • Create, editadmin, demand_manager
  • Readadmin, demand_manager, demand_agent

No one can delete demand task records.

Create a demand task


To create a demand task, complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Demands → Demand Tasks.
  2. Click New.
  3. Fill in all required fields and click Save. The task is saved in the Registered state.
  4. The assigned user must start work on the task, have it approved (if necessary), and then complete.

  • Registered
  • Approval

  • Low
  • Moderate
  • High
  • Critical

By default, the priority value is set to Moderate.
Assignment groupNSpecify the group assigned to process the demand task.
Assigned userNSpecify the user assigned to process the demand task.
Work notesNSpecify additional information in this field.

Each demand task is assigned with a unique displayable name after the saving of the record. It is generated according to the following template: DTSKXXXXXXX Subject. Example: DTSK0000032 Equipment update.

The Activty Feed widget with the History and Work Notes tabs is available on the form of a saved record.

Approvals is a list of approval requests that also shows the state of requests and the names of approvers.
