New features

We have added a new navigator section Partner Management where the agents can create and configure partnership programs and partner levels for them, process partnership applications and create partnership agreements for the accepted applications.

New tables

Partnership Program (crm_partnership_program)

The partnership program is a form of cooperation between the companies. The partner company promotes the products and services offered by the vendor company. In the new version, you can create partnership programs to catalog the terms that you offer to your partners.

Partner Level (crm_partner_level)

Create partner levels to register in the system the exact milestones that a partner can achieve in a program. Each level needs a list of requirements that the partner must meet to obtain the level. You can present these requirements in an article related to a level.

Partnership Application (crm_partnership_application)

The partnership application is an application from a company interested in the cooperation with the vendor company. The employees of the vendor company process partnership applications and move them through the states until an agreement is signed or the application canceled. The transition between states happens when a corresponding UI action located on the partnership application form is used.

We added a new CRM Customer Contact Information widget on the Partnership Application* form. This widget presents major information about the contact related to an application.

Partnership Agreement (crm_partnership_agreement)

Create partnership agreements to register the state of partner relationships with companies and save information about major contacts within the partnership programs. A state flow has been designed for partnership agreement that allows you to keep relevant and deprecated records, which illustrate the whole relationship history with the partner.

Only users related to partners for which a Valid agreement exists can access the partner portal.

Improvements

Several fields have been removed from the Partner form. A new Partnership Agreements related list has been added. It contains all agreements created for this partner.

The set of demo data has been completed with new records to help users quickly learn the partner management functionality. New records:

  • 2 partnership programs
  • 6 partner levels
  • 3 partnership applications
  • 3 partnership agreements
  • 6 articles with descriptions of partner levels

Texts

  • The sales direction term in Russian has been changed from "Направление продаж" to "Дирекция продаж". The table, field, related list names, and other texts have been changed accordingly.
  • The field names of the Sales Direction form have been updated.
  • The table and field names of the Opportunity Task Template (crm_task_template) form have been updated.
  • The crm.selling_direction.default system property has been renamed to crm.sales_direction.default to match the relevant terminology. The descriptions of all system properties have been translated to English.

Fixes

DEF0019923: We have added compatibility of the widgets used in the Opportunity and Lead forms with older versions of the platform. Now widgets work correctly on any platform version.
