Marketing Campaigns

Add information about the Marketing Campaigns (crm_marketing_campaign) conducted on the external platforms for the attraction of the leads and track their progress. When you add leads and opportunities, you can connect them to the marketing campaigns.

tip

Role required: crm_marketeer, crm_admin, crm_sales, crm_manager. Only crm_admin and crm_manager can edit the Owner field value.

To create a marketing campaign, complete the steps below:

  1. Navigate to CRM → Marketing → Marketing Campaigns.
  2. Click New and fill in the fields.
  3. Click Save or Save and exit to apply the changes.

Marketing Campaign form fields

Allocated budgetNSpecify the allocated budget for the marketing campaign.
Actual budgetNSpecify the actual budget for the marketing campaign.
Expected revenueNSpecify the expected revenue from the marketing campaign.
Conversion to leadsNSpecify the conversion percentage of the marketing campaign audience into leads.
OwnerNSpecify the owner of the marketing campaign.
ResponsibleYSpecify the employee responsible for the marketing campaign.

Sales directionY

Specify the sales direction to which the marketing campaign belongs. The field is completed automatically with the first found sales direction of the current user, if any. You can change this value.

If you clear the value of this field, the Marketing message field will be cleared as well.
Service/ProductN

Specify the service or product to which the marketing campaign is related.

If you clear the value of this field, the Marketing message field will be cleared as well.
Marketing messageNSpecify the marketing message that the marketing campaign promotes.

The form contains the Activity Feed widget. Only users with the crm_marketeer, crm_admin, crm_sales, crm_manager roles can leave comments there.

The record contains the following related lists:

  • Leads – the leads attracted by the marketing campaign.
  • Marketing Lists – the marketing lists that contain the companies, contacts, and leads attracted by the marketing campaign.
  • CRM Tasks – the CRM tasks created for the work on the marketing campaign.
  • Emails – the emails related to the marketing campaign.
  • Meetings – the meetings related to the marketing campaign.
  • Phone Calls – the phone calls related to the marketing campaign.
  • Content Packages – the content packages related to the marketing campaign.

Navigate to CRM → Marketing → Marketing Campaigns to see previously created marketing campaigns. Open a Marketing Campaign record to manage it. Click Activate / Deactivate to change the Active value for the campaign. Inactive marketing campaigns are hidden from the default list interface.
